Md. Munir Hossen

SENIOR DIRECTOR AND ADVISOR, ADVISOR’S OFFICE

Md. Munir Hossen obtained his post-graduate degree from Rajshahi University, MPH in Epidemiology track from State University under Dhaka University, Bangladesh. He also obtained a diploma on Project Planning, Development & Management from the Academy for Planning and Development, Ministry of Planning, Bangladesh

He has about 28 years of working experience in development sectors in various organisations (BRAC, DFID, Save the Children USA, DFID and CARE) implementing whole programs, serving 20 years for different organisations at senior managerial positions, gaining vast experience in administrative, financial and project management as well as implementation. 

Certificate course in program management: managing for quality from management sciences for health under Asian Institute of technology (AIT) Bangkok, Thailand,
and completed also certificate course in project and programme management which organized by the management for development foundation-(MDF) South Asia, Sri Lanka – sponsor by DFIDand many types of professional management training courses from center for development management (CDM ) BRAC.

He has about 30 years of working experience and presently holds the position of a Senior Director and Advisor- Programme & Field Operations in Friendship.
