Vous avez été 165 personnes à assister à  notre conférence «Restoring Dignity, Sustaining Hope: How much can a humanitarian organisation do?” de mardi dernier, 12 novembre, à la Banque de Luxembourg. Et vous avez été une bonne centaine à nous avoir dit votre intérêt pour le sujet tout en n’ayant pas été mesure de vous libérer ce soir-là.

Pour permettre aux uns de découvrir ce que nous vous avons présenté ce soir-là et aux autres de revisiter tel ou tel morceau qui leur a est allé particulièrement au cœur ou qu’ils voudraient revisiter au calme, vous pouvez lire respectivement visionner, moyennant les liens ci-dessous, les différentes interventions et films de la soirée :

–          Film réalisé par le MAEE (Mr Moritz Klein) à la suite de la visite de Mme Paulette Lenert dans les camps en juin 2019

–          Intervention de Mme Paulette Lenert, Ministre de la Coopération au Développement et des Affaires Humanitaires

–          Film réalisé par Friendship sur la situation dans les camps Rohingya et les actions y réalisées

–          Intervention de Mme Runa Khan, Fondatrice et Directrice Exécutive de Friendship Bangladesh

–          « That’s Me, A Rohingya » et « Mother Arakan », poèmes lus par Mr Shehzar Doja, Poète et Editeur  

–          Présentation, par Shehzar Doja, de l’atelier de poésie organisé dans les camps de Cox’s Bazar

–          Intervention de Mme Dominique Hansen, Directrice de la Fondation EME, sur le travail réalisé par la fondation auprès de migrants et réfugiés

–          Film réalisé par Friendship autour des ateliers de musique et de danse co-organisés par Friendship, EME et Open Floor Dance dans les Îles du fleuve Brahmapoutre

La table ronde qui a suivi et à laquelle ont participé, outre Mmes Paulette Lenert et Runa Khan, Monsieur Murshid Kazi Fayaz, en tant que représentant de l’Ambassade du Bangladesh à Bruxelles, Madame Corine van Reeuwijk, en tant que représentante de Caritas Luxembourg et Mr Rémi Fabbri en tant que représentant de la Croix Rouge luxembourgeoise a très utilement clôturée la soirée.

Dear Friends of Friendship

Last Tuesday, November 12, at the Banque de Luxembourg, 165 people attended our conference entitled “Restoring Dignity, Sustaining Hope: How much can a humanitarian organisation do?“. And a good hundred of you told us about your interest in the subject while not being able to free yourself that evening.

To allow some of you to discover what we presented that evening and others to revisit some interventions that went particularly to your heart or that you would like to revisit in calm, you can read or view, through the links below, the different interventions and films of the evening:

–          Speech by Mrs Dominique Hansen, Director of the EME Foundation on the work carried out by the Foundation with migrants and refugees

–          Film directed by Friendship around music and dance workshops co-organized by Friendship, EME and Open Floor Dance in the Brahmaputra River Islands

The round table that followed, in which Mrs Paulette Lenert and Mrs Runa Khan participated, Mr Murshid Kazi Fayaz, as representative of the Bangladesh Embassy in Brussels, Mrs Corine van Reeuwijk, as representative of Caritas Luxembourg and Mr Rémi Fabbri, as representative of the Luxembourg Red Cross, very usefully concluded the evening.
